Standard Dimensions

  • Maximum billet length 25000 mm
  • Billet width 1800 or 2500 mm
  • The billet is cut to length and sawn into LVL beams, planks or panels in according to customer´s requirements.

Standard Thicknesses​

  • 21; 24; 27; 30; 33; 36; 39; 42; 45; 48; 51; 63; 75 mm
  • Other thicknesses on request

Possible panel widths

  • Panels can be cut to widths less than 2500 or 1800 mm, however the standard width is charged.
  • The length will be as per customer's requirement.

Construction

  • Kerto Q LVL is produced from 3 mm thick, rotary-peeled softwood veneers ,cross-bonded, meaning that one fifth of the veneers are glued crosswise to form a continuous billet.

Bonding

  • Pnenolic, according standard EN 314-2 / class 3

Faces

  • Spruce with unrepaired knots, not sanded.
  • Sanding: optical or calibrating, with extra cost.
  • Protective tratments, e.g. Weather Guard, with extra cost.

Further Processing

  • Possible, upon request.
  • Profiling of the beam e.g. tong and grooving.
  • CNC machining: drilling, mitering, edge easing, notching.
  • Special sawing: both straight and tapered shapes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Changes in humidity may cause changes in the panels. In order to avoid such changes, it is necessary to leave expansion gaps between panels during installation. Wood is a natural material, meaning that a simple sample or photo does not represent the panels generality. Any claim is limited to the value corresponding to the defective panels only.
